Schematic Elements
I remember first starting out building pedals and just blindly following the layouts provided, not having a clue in the slightest what the circuit was actually doing. As I got more and more into building, I decided I wanted to make my own things. This required learning how to read and understand schematics. It's no small task, but the payoff is really worth it. In the Schematic Elements video series, I break down common guitar effect circuit topologies and explain at a mid-to-high level what is happening in the circuit. We start off very simply and then build on previous circuits to understand increasingly complex circuits.

Schematic Elements is not intended as a deep analysis of circuits, rather, it is intended to help those who may be intimidated by schematics to begin understanding what they mean so that they can begin to use that knowledge on their own projects, for troubleshooting, etc.
